Default themes always work. But custom themes can be a paaaain... Especially plug-ins can crash the platform. It has to do with unending string loops. I hope you get it fixed soon. Good luck! Not at Mediatemple but I should be. Right now a rather cheap hosting solution which has served me well the past two years. The hickups I had lately are easily forgiven.
