Mightily impressed with this song by Gotye which I first thought was a weird escapade by Sting. Try not to look at this guy’s mouth. It’s impossible.

Photographic weirdness at its best. David Maisel makes large-scaled photographs which show the physical impact on the land from industrial efforts such as mining, logging, water reclamation, and military testing. Because these sites are often remote and inaccessible, Maisel frequently works from an aerial perspective, thereby permitting images and photographic evidence that would be otherwise unattainable. Belgian (?) startup Storify won an award at SXSW in the category ‘News Related Technologies‘. I’ve been following this project from afar for a while now but for some reason never applied for an account. So that was the first thing on my to-do list this morning.

Basically Storify allows you to tell stories by aggregating clips from all over the web, such as tweets, Youtube videos, etc. Let’s give it a spin and reblog a Storify story by one of Twitter’s founders @jack
